Gary Chua
Gary founded GCIS Insurance following a distinguished career spanning over a decade assisting clients from various industries. Gary comes from a business background having a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland majoring in Accounting and Taxation. Gary is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) and has a Diploma in Insurance Broking.
During his career, Gary has helped clients from different industries like retailers, restaurants, wholesalers, commercial cleaners, franchise groups, real estate agents, and commercial property owners. Gary is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.
Gary takes a client centric approach in assisting small and medium entities with their insurance needs. He has a “nothing is too hard” attitude and likes to think outside the box when assisting his clients. He takes pride in his ability to understand his client’s risk and explaining it to them without using “insurance jargons”. It is the opportunity to build a relationship with his clients that Gary thoroughly enjoys.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys running and cycling, followed by a well deserved cup of coffee. Due to his competitive nature, Gary always strives to improve and is always up for a challenge. He also enjoys gardening in his free time and is on a mission to collect various varieties of chilli plants.

Terry Lee
As the first employee of GCIS Insurance, Terry brings a fresh perspective and valuable expertise to the business. He entered the insurance field in 2021, armed with a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance), and quickly gained hands-on experience working with clients in diverse sectors including retail, transport, construction, and manufacturing. Terry excels at tailoring insurance solutions to meet each client’s unique needs, particularly in complex property placements.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Terry is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance. He is passionate about ensuring his clients understand the risks and coverage options that best protect their businesses and assets. Known for his efficient approach, Terry takes pride in delivering personalized, risk-focused advice to simplify the insurance process.
Terry’s goal is to make insurance clearer and more accessible, providing each client with a solution that fits their specific requirements.
Outside of work, Terry is an avid coffee lover and enjoys exploring new dining experiences. He’s also passionate about travel and embraces the opportunity to immerse himself in new cultures and destinations whenever possible. These hobbies help him stay inspired and bring a balanced approach to both his personal and professional life.
